To strengthen our team in **Halle**, at the Procurement department, we are looking for you as a
**Strategic Purchaser (f/m/d)**, initially limited to 24 months.
**Your Tasks**:
- Sourcing, Market Analysis & Early Involvement - Analyse the market to identify procurement risks, opportunities, and market forces to avoid potential exposure or to exploit possible opportunities, whilst ensuring early engagement with cross-functional partners
- Negotiation & Contract Management - Prepare and lead negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings and or process improvement to contribute to productivity targets
- Ensure robust negotiation of commercial terms, KPIs and SLAs to mitigate business risk
- Supplier Management - End to end supplier management process from supplier selection and due diligence, qualification through to relationship and conflict management, supplier development and ongoing evaluation
- Procurement Governance - monitor and manage adherence to Procurement policy and P2P process to ensure high process efficiency and compliance
- Digitalisation Projects - actively contribute to projects and collaborate in work groups to drive transformation and process efficiency using appropriate digital tools
**Your Profil**:
- Successfully completed master’s degrees in business administration or comparable
- Multiannual purchasing experience in an internationally active, manufacturing company (desirable pharma or chemical branch)
- Market knowledge of pharma branch & industry regulations knowledge, including law regulations desirable
- Strong SAP experience, MS Office proficiency
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Purchasing negotiations experience, strong focus on achieving business objectives
- Communicativeness, and ability to work with cross-functional and cross-national teams
