**A Snapshot of Your Day**

As a Team member of the SE GS C P SP SO2 Team, you will help support the Gas Services REU (Germany) ensure customer care via the supply of materials based on customer requirements via the Purchase-To-Pay (P2P) processes.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Expedite as needed and serve as liaison between vendors and users.
- Resolve complex delivery, quality or other related problems with purchase and invoices.
- Updates project plans and purchasing systems through collaboration & negotiations with suppliers to develop alternative procurement models.
- SAP knowledge required.
- Review and analyze requisitions and supply plans for domestic and international purchases.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and quality requirements and responsible for cost savings based on your commodity
- Determine Strategy based on BU needs - supplier development plan in close collaboration with SQM, CVE & Global Commodity Management.
- Develop requests for quotes and develop new supply sources
- Evaluate market conditions working cross-functionally to identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks earlier and improve our chances of winning bids.
- Performs value analysis to identify cost improvements
- Monitor developments in technologies and bring new suppliers in to identify and introduce innovation into our organization.

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline is required (Engineering background preferred).
- Minimum 2-4 years of successful experience in purchasing. Those with more experience may be eligible for a higher level.
- Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of area of specialization
- Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues.
- Keeps an open mindset, embraces technological opportunities, has an entrepreneurial mindset and is curious.
- Ability to work independently and with an organized and disciplined approach
- Applicants must demonstrate excellent social management skills: active listening, collaboration, communication, persuasion & service orientation.
- Ability to travel 20% domestically or internationally
- Digital Skills preferred: resolving computer problems with new technologies. i.e. programming skills

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
