**We build software that helps companies along the food system get to Net Zero.**:
~31% of global GHG emissions originate from food-related activities. For the first time in history, climate performance has become an overall business performance indicator. Enterprises are mandated by regulatory bodies to disclose their climate performance, which leads to increasing pressure from investors, competitors, retailers, and consumers to _prevent and reduce_ their CO2e emissions. Over the next 10 years, companies have set ambitious reduction targets that need to be met. Enterprise software and new business processes can help.
We raised >€10m in funding in the first 2 years of our existence, we launched our enterprise product, signed and onboarded some of the largest F&B players in Europe, and put together what we believe is the best-suited early stage tech team in Europe. Will you be the next to join us?
**What you will work on**:
**Your mission**:
Lead Root’s efforts in understanding and co-shaping the emission management ambitions of food manufacturers across Europe.
**_ Over the next 12 months, you will work on:_**:
- ** Strucutre our expansion**
- Research the European market landscape to collect data points on market size, customer needs, and competition
- Segment target customers by industry, company size, geography, and other relevant criteria
- ** Conduct sales**
- Research potential customers that fit our ideal customer profile (ICP) and execute outbound sales activities to generate leads
- Craft and deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to the specific needs and pain points of different prospects
- ** Hire multiple teams**
- After you have managed to close first customers in a market, recruit and train a local sales team to replace you
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed
- ** Collaborate with internal teams**
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to the internal team to guide product development and prioritization
- Work with customer success to manage expectations, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and address any issues that arise

You likely have **3-6 years** of **B2B enterprise sales/ expansion work experience** at another startup or similar fast-paced environment.
You also demonstrate the following:

- Willingness to take initiative and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- ** Clarity of thought**:
- Ability to reason logically, form sound arguments, and identify flaws in reasoning

- Skills in analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs
- Understanding of B2B Enterprises SaaS sales processes, sales cycles, and sales practices

- Ability to quickly build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other industry stakeholders
- Understanding and ability to navigate managerial, cultural, and personal differences inside companies and industries
- ** Communication skills**:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to articulate ideas, decisions, or value propositions in a charismatic way
