**Responsibilities**:
- Independent development of test series and test plans including preparation of the corresponding test reports- Independent development of new methods and concepts for the optimization of synthesis in the field of superabsorbents as well as the characterization of polymer properties, especially in the field of sustainable chemistry- Polymerization, development and general optimization of processes in the field of superabsorbents- Sample production and shipping for customers- Preparation of standard operating procedures, research reports and presentations including presentation of results in meetings and workshops- Supporting the production and implementation of polymerizations on a scale-up basis as well as checking and qualifying raw materials- General laboratory activities such as cleaning, maintenance and calibration work on laboratory equipment and laboratory facilities

**Requirements**:
- Successfully completed training as a chemical laboratory technician (M/F/d) or chemical technical assistant (M/F/d) including further training as a state-certified technician (M/F/d)- Several years of professional experience- Knowledge in the field of polymer synthesis and static experimental design- Experience in method and process development- Confident handling of MS-Office- Good written and spoken English skills- High degree of initiative and commitment- Independent and conscientious way of working as well as strong communication and cooperation skills
