EHS interns have a genuine passion for the health and safety of people, respect for our environment and a deep desire to learn and acquire knowledge and skills related to environment, health, safety and sustainability. EHS interns interact with a variety of individuals and establish and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external customers. An internship with the Tesla EHS team will provide incumbents an opportunity to help foster a strong safety and sustainability culture, be enablers of business processes, and above all, be part of Tesla’s mission.

Do you want to solve complex problems in a dynamic and highly motivated team while supporting Tesla on its path to a sustainable future? Then we are looking for exactly you. In your job, you will be the interface between the environmental team and the production departments. You will develop technical solutions for the implementation of various legal requirements. In addition, you will gain an intensive insight into Tesla's production processes. Based on the experience gained, you will be responsible for developing a concept to collect, merge and present environmentally relevant data. Besides the main topics (water protection and water hazardous materials) you will also deal with general environmental requirements. Overall, you will have a front row seat and support Tesla in making important decisions that not only impact your team, but also the achievement of Tesla's goals as a whole.

Möchtest du in einem dynamischen und hoch motovierten Team komplexe Aufgabenstellungen lösen und dabei Tesla auf dem Weg zu einer nachhaltigen Zukunft unterstützen. Dann suchen wir genau dich. Bei deiner Aufgabe wirst du Schnittstelle zwischen dem Umweltteam und den Produktionsabteilungen. Dabei werden technische Lösungen für die Umsetzung verschiedener gesetzlicher Vorgaben erarbeitet. Darüber hinaus wirst du einen intensiven Einblick in die Produktionsprozesse von Tesla erhalten. Durch die dabei gesammelten Erfahrungen bist du zuständig, ein Konzept zu entwickeln, um Umweltrelevante Daten zu erfassen, zusammenzuführen und zu präsentieren. Neben dem Hauptthema (Gewässerschutz und wassergefährdende Stoffe) wirst du dich auch mit den allgemeinen Umweltanforderungen beschäftigen. Insgesamt sitzt du in der ersten Reihe und unterstützt Tesla bei wichtigen Entscheidungen, die sich nicht nur auf dein Team auswirken, sondern auch auf das Erreichen der Ziele von Tesla insgesamt.

- Support management of cadastre for water hazardous substances and collection of permit documentation
- Build your knowledge on water protection and compliance with applicable regulations
- Contribute to spread awareness for water protection and handling of water hazardous substances within the company
- Develop concepts to document the waste water quality and quantity
- Support groundwater monitoring (sampling and reporting)
- Create reports and lessons learned of environmental spills of water hazardous substances
- Support the Tesla EHS team in water protection and beyond
- Support environmental programs to improve Tesla's environmental performance
