Summary

For "Production Management" we are looking for a "Head of Production Logistics and Improvement (f/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The department "Production Management" is responsible for the calculation of production costs, the planning of the workflow and the medium to long term production planning in the production control system.

Your Tasks- Technical and disciplinary management of the Production Logistics and Improvement department with a focus on the establishment of factory logistics at the Ulm location- Control and optimization of the logistics service provider at the site with the aim of achieving the defined service level agreement- Implementation of the logistics strategy on site in line with the global logistics planning strategy- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics processes on site- Maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure on-site logistics performance and identify opportunities for process improvement- Coordination of transport activities at the site, including internal route planning up to material handling- Development of on-site delivery methods, especially for production requirements for optimal material provision- Responsible for the improvement process in production using lean methodologies- Contact person for all process improvement measures in production and the internal supply chain- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration and continuous learning

Your Profile- Completed studies with a focus on logistics and / or production management or similar- Completed Refa / MTM training- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position with personnel responsibility- Many years of experience in the field of Lean Logistics, Lean Production and Process Optimization- Experience in the field of production or work planning with contents of time management- Several successful improvement projects- Hands-on mentality and strong implementation orientation- Independent, structured and proactive way of working- Analytical skills, strong negotiating skills and decision-making skills- Fluent German as well as very good English skills
