**Your Mission**
- You provide comprehensive legal support for the operational business of KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG and its affiliated companies in Germany and abroad in all commercial legal matters
- Within the Legal department, you build up the "Commercial Law" department and organize it, including the professional and disciplinary management of currently two employees
- You distribute legal topics and activities according to competencies and continuously build up specialist knowledge in the team, in particular through the efficient use of existing digital knowledge management tools and contract databases
- You standardize internal legal advice processes and contract/decision templates for the systematic analysis and processing of all commercial legal issues
- You provide sound advice to managers and answer questions in the areas of commercial law, competition and distribution law, antitrust law, purchasing law and general contract and civil law
- You draft, review and/or negotiate company contracts in German and English
- You handle legal disputes and take on the management of external lawyers
- Also, you ensure that processes are created, trained and updated in the specialist departments with regard to changes in legislation and the latest case law
- You are in regular contact with the Head of Legal regarding strategy and structure as well as cooperation within the legal department with regard to the best possible development of the company
**Your Talents**
- Completed studies in law or business law
- 2-5 years of professional experience, ideally in the legal department of an international company
- Sound legal expertise in commercial law, experienced negotiation skills and well-balanced decision-making ability
- Experience with database systems and digitalization in the legal department
- Strategic mindset with the talent to implement efficient processes and structures
- Assertiveness and ability to work in a team as well as a pragmatic and efficient working style
- Transparent, empathetic communication style
- High sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English as well as intercultural competence
