This is an operational role and we are looking for an individual with experience in supporting a multi-channel communications programme at international event level. The incumbent will be an avid copywriter with a passion for creating engaging content, and they will have an exceptional eye for detail, executing the day-to-day content management of EURO 2024 channels. They will also be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders within Host City and venue, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of spectator communications at EURO 2024.

**List of relevant tasks & responsibilities**:
**Content development**
- Work with internal and external stakeholders (Host cities and venues) to develop and collate content across operational matchday, mobility and fan zone communications for fans attending EURO 2024
- Write engaging, creative and accurate copy according to UEFA style guides and tone of voice in English and German
**Content Management**
- Support dynamic communications onsite during the competitions / matches
- Monitor the delivery of communications on UEFA channels, including product testing
**Operations**
- Collaboration with all key event stakeholders to establish effective structures and workflows supporting localised tournament communications through EURO 2024 channels
- Optimising communications across external channels, ensuring seamless integration with EURO 2024 channels
- Participating in training and table-top exercises to ensure readiness for the tournament
- Working with the UEFA Event Communications Team as required
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Communications, Sports, Event Management, or a related field
- At least two years of copywriting and/or communications experience, ideally with an operational focus
- At least two years of digital content management experience
- Minimum of one year major event operations experience, ideally in the sports or entertainment industry
- Experience in working with content management systems (CMS)
- Computer-literate: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project (Proficient)
- German and English (Proficient)
- Adapting and responding to change
