**Key responsibilities**

Accounting and reporting

a) Responsibility for weekly and monthly operational reporting
- Weekly monitoring of plant related KPIs like production variances, scrap, MRB, blocked stock and clocked hours
- Monthly plant P&L forecast preparation and submission comprising of cost estimates across all expense accounts, labor & overhead absorption, and all material variances including PPV (purchase price variance), MUV (material usage variance) and any production yield variances. Commentary to explain the variances compared to the prior forecast
- Monthly labor & overhead productivity calculation and submission, comprising of year-over-year analysis of plant expense accounts compared to change in plant labor hours, together with using this prodcuctivity analysis to support operational actions to drive incremental productivity and/or enable growth
- Monthly close process to include review of the month’s actual results and analysis comparing the results to the forecast
- Closely monitor capital expenditure, ensuring controls and processes are adhered to, assessing for any financial risk or adjustments required, and ensuring that “assets under construction” are capitalized in a timely and accurate manner

b) Responsibility of budget and forecasting process including yearly cost roll

Compliance
- Support external and internal audit for the manufacturing plant
- Organize and lead cycle counts/ wall-to-wall counts as applicable
- Supervision of local SOX Controls including review of CAR forms
- Review and monitoring of financial transactions between the plant and the joint venture partner
- Verification that financial transactions meet requirements outlined in the JV contracts
- Monitoring of indirect and direct tax compliance given the set-up of the company as a contract manufacturer, for the principle pal

Business Partnership
- Provide financial visibility, analysis and business partnership to support the plant’s actions to meet its inventory target to improve inventory turns
- Partner with the Global Operations Finance team and the local site engineering team to support the annual standard cost update process, including analysis to evaluate the impact of standard cost processes on inventory and the plant financials
- Provide financial support and KPIs to management team and site manager

Management Responsibility: no direct reports but indirect management of COE and Process Teams

**Position Competencies**

Knowledge & Key Skills:

- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communicator in English language.
- Able to summarize results and complex data in a succinct manner and present to (non-) financial management.
- Professional Office skills (especially Excel) plus corporate reporting tools experience (eg. HFM or similar)

Essential Qualifications/Education:

- Business degree with focus on Finance, Accounting, Tax, Financial analysis
- At least 5-7 years working experience, in comparable role

Essential Previous Experience:

- Plant Controlling and Financial analysis/reporting experience
- Budget/ Forecast of a manufacturing plant
- Knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis and re-costing/ calculation preferably in SAP
- Has worked in a SOX 404 environment or similar organisation
