Trainee Product Marketing

Are you ready to start your career in a fast-moving, future-oriented environment? The International Graduate Program (IGP) at Infineon gives you full insight into how we come up with innovations. Our products enable self-driving cars, help save tons of CO2, and allow contactless (and secure) credit card payments. Joining the IGP will give you the big picture of Infineon: Over the course of 18 months, you have at least three different assignments - one of them abroad. By working in different departments, you can get an idea of what suits you best. From the beginning, you’ll have a chance to roll up your sleeves and take on challenging tasks. Besides that, you have the opportunity to build strong global relationships across sites, functions and departments, and to meet the global IGP community face to face and at virtual conferences. As an IGP in Product Marketing, you will work on your own projects, be involved in daily business and gain extensive insight into the semiconductor industry market. You are the interface between the marketing team in the Green Industrial Power area and the adjacent business areas and thus actively shape the concepts and projects of tomorrow by deriving recommendations for the strategic direction from analyses and research.
In your new role you will:
- **Prepare market analyses, business reports and derive recommendations **for product line management
- **Participate in and coordinate product projects **to implement roadmap, portfolio expansion and market launch with focus on **timing, budget and quality**:
- Act as an **interface between the product line marketing team and stakeholders **in other business unit departments by driving issues according to business needs
- **Analyze given business tasks **(e.g. processes/structures, technical optimizations), **structure them, derive concepts and proposed solutions **(e.g. lean and efficient process flows) from them
- **Contribute personal input, **e.g. own suggestions, ideas, new approaches to solutions and want to shape your own work area

Your program consists of the following elements:
- You will start the International Graduate Program at the **Warstein **site and get an overview of Infineon's global marketing organization and experience the collaboration between the different areas of marketing.
- **At least one international assignment of 6 months either at our local Asian locations (e.g. in China) or in the USA **to get to know the different areas of our global marketing and to build your own network.
You are curious and interested in a broad range of topics and always try to get new insights and ideas.
You don’t expect things to be handed to you on a silver platter. You question existing assumptions, put the customer at the heart of your actions and love change - which is guaranteed in the semiconductor industry. You are pragmatic and analytic, because we need both at Infineon. Standing still is not your thing. You find inspiration in working with different kinds of people, collaborating with your colleagues beyond borders on the big picture.
You are best equipped for this task if:
- You have **recently successfully completed master's degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, Business administration or similar with a focus on marketing and technology.**:
- You bring a **high affinity for project management, digitalization, technology and market trends **to the table
- You have **good self-organization skills and excellent time management skills**:
- You have **strong coordination and communication skills**:
- Ideally, you have already gained **international experience **during your studies through internships or a semester abroad (at least 3 months)
- **Practical experience in marketing, supply chain or semiconductors (e.g. through internships during your studies) is a big plus**:
- You are a **networker who excels in analytical skills, strategic thinking and entrepreneurial action**:
- **Intercultural awareness and good language skills **in spoken and written English and German (any other European language is an advantage)
