Second Foundation is an international energy trader and asset manager with around 350 employees at locations in Prague, Zug, Mainz, Berlin, Houston and Tokyo. As a specialist in the physical trading of electricity in 21 markets in Europe, North America and Asia, we have become a leading provider of marketing solutions for renewable energies and battery storage.

Second Foundation offers comprehensive marketing services on day-ahead, intraday and ancillary service markets for renewable energies, battery storages and other flexible assets. Using our innovative trading algorithms and profound market expertise, we maximise the returns of the assets we manage across various energy markets. Since 2023, we have also been investing in our own battery storage systems and have already built up a portfolio of 15 projects with a capacity of over 500 MW in development.

As B2B Head of Sales at Second Foundation, you will actively write our success story in the energy transition. Together with your team, you will bring our trading and balancing energy services to the operators of battery storage systems, biogas plants, CHP plants and other flexible producers and consumers. With our technical expertise and proven trading algorithms, we offer you a convincing basis for successful sales.

**What would you work on?**
- Building and leading the B2B sales team for energy services.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies for our 'Trading as a Service' offering.
- Analyzing customer requirements and working closely with our analytics and product teams to develop and adjust product offering and marketing strategies.
- Identifying and acquiring new customers in the field of battery storage and power plant operators.
- Independently conducting contract negotiations and designing individual marketing solutions.
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships with operators, project developers and investors.
- Creating compelling offers and presentations based on concrete performance data from our existing portfolio.
- Representing Second Foundation at conferences, trade fairs and industry events.
- Monitoring market developments and competitor activities.
- Several years of professional experience in B2B sales in the energy sector.
- Experience in leading sales teams is a big plus.
- Analytical skills to synthesise customer needs and prioritize product features development.
- Proven track record in acquiring and closing complex B2B contracts.
- In-depth understanding of energy markets and trading products.
- Strong technical understanding of power plants or storage technologies.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Initiative, entrepreneurial thinking and goal-oriented approach to work.
- Willingness to travel within Germany.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Class B driving license.
