Zur Unterstützung des globalen Sicherheitsmanagementsystems suchen wir eine:n Safety & Security Advisor mit Sitz in unserer Zentrale in Köln. Als Safety & Security Advisor sind Sie für die operativen Mechanismen der globalen Safety & Security Policies zuständig und stellen sicher, dass die Prozesse auf dem neuesten Stand sind, entsprechend kommuniziert und innerhalb der regionalen MI-Teams effektiv umgesetzt werden.

Sie leiten das strategische und operative Sicherheitsmanagement für MI-Mitarbeitende und unterstützen die Erstellung von Sicherheits
- und Krisenmanagementplänen. Darüber hinaus unterstützen Sie Nothilfeeinsätze und den Kapazitätsaufbau des MI-Personals.

**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Beratung und Unterstützung des Senior Managements, der Projektbüros und der nationalen Partner beim Sicherheitsmanagement und Krisenmanagement, sowie beim Management und der Nachbereitung von Sicherheitsvorfällen
- Regelmäßige Durchführung von Assessments sowie in Krisensituation oder bei Nothilfeeinsätzen und in volatilen Kontexten, sowie Gewährleistung der Entwicklung, Umsetzung und Einhaltung von Mindestsicherheitsstandards und -verfahren innerhalb von MI
- Sicherstellung des Kapazitätsaufbaus und Entwicklung einer Kultur des Risikobewusstseins bei allen MI-Mitarbeitenden
- Beratung der Managementebene aller MI-Programme, einschließlich der Festlegung von Risikoeinstufung von Standorten und des akzeptablen Niveaus des operativen Sicherheitsrisikos sowie von Maßnahmen zur Risikominderung
- Monitoring der Entwicklungen im Arbeitsumfeld von MI (politische, sicherheitspolitische und wirtschaftliche Lage in den Einsatzländern) und Gewährleistung der Bereitstellung regelmäßiger Updates zum Kontext
- Kontakt
- und Netzwerkpflege mit den Sicherheitsbeauftragten anderer humanitärer und internationaler Organisationen (UNDSS, INSO usw.) und Gewährleistung der Vertretung von MI in relevanten Sicherheitsgremien
- Beteiligung an internen Managementstrukturen sowie aktive Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Fachstellen (z. B. Safeguarding, Protection, Compliance/Integrity Management) im Rahmen des organisationsweiten Risikomanagements Ihr Profil:

- Eine formale Sicherheitsqualifikation oder eine entsprechende Weiterbildung im Bereich Sicherheitsmanagement sowie mindestens 5 Jahre praktische Erfahrung in einer leitenden Funktion im Sicherheitsmanagement
- Erfahrung in den Bereichen Risikobewertung, Berichterstattung über Vorfälle, Kartierung von Vorfällen, Sammlung und Analyse von Informationen und Sicherheitstechnologie
- Nachgewiesene Analyse
- und Schreibfähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit, politische und Referenzkarten zu lesen
- Fähigkeit zur Anwendung digitaler Tools zur Vereinfachung der Sicherheitsprozesse (Richtlinien, SOPs usw.) und des Informationsaustauschs
- Verständnis der humanitären Grundsätze und ihrer Anwendung im Rahmen des humanitären Sicherheitsrisikomanagements; frühere Arbeitserfahrung in humanitären Organisationen ist dabei von Vorteil
- Fähigkeit und Bereitschaft, auch in Gegenden mit hohem Sicherheitsrisiko zu reisen
- Fließende Englischkenntnisse sowie gute Deutschkenntnisse sind zwingend erforderlich; Französisch
- und/oder Spanischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil Wir bieten Ihnen:
