- Student assistant / internship or Bachelor-thesis (M/F/d): "The effect of glucose in a mixotrophic culture of cyanobacteria Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) and its effect on the quality of the commercially relevant pigments"
**Background**
The project “MixoArthroPigment” aims for the mixotrophic cultivation of
_Spirulina _(
_Arthrospira platensis_) using glucose as a carbon source is an innovative proposed solution to produce low chlorophyll concentrated biomass that could be used in food industry as a high-protein supplement.
**Tasks**
Laboratory and at farm validation trials involving Spirulina growth under specific physical and chemical parameters.
