**Our Profile**:
The IME institute, under the direction of Prof. Friedrich, covers research and teaching activities in the field of metallurgical process technologies at the RWTH Aachen University, with a strong focus on non-ferrous metals. The core objectives of the institute are the development of sustainable, environment-friendly and cost-efficient processes for the extraction, recycling and refining of metals and their alloys, as well as a practice-oriented approach to higher education. A special emphasis is placed on the recycling of metals as a key enabler of the Circular Economy Strategy of the European Union.
**Your Profile**:
- Programming skills in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
- Knowledge of custom WordPress development (custom WordPress plugins and Advanced Custom Fields ACF plugins) preferred
- Currently studying at a university or university of applied sciences
**Your Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support for the development and maintaince of websites using WordPress themes and plugins
- Support for the optimization of websites based on client requirements
- Provide technical support and documentation
**What We Offer**:
The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date and offered for a fixed term of 12 months.
This is a part-time contract position.
The standard weekly hours will be 5-8 hours.
The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.
The position corresponds to a pay grade of 13.25 € per hour.
