Starting in October 2023, our Graduate Program provides an immersive experience from day one. Your onboarding and settling-in will be supported by various training and networking sessions, specifically designed to support your personal and professional development.

The Graduate Program consists of three 10-month assignments in at least two European countries (France, Germany, or the United Kingdom). Within those assignments, you will have a chance to explore the following Sony professional business groups: Image Sensing Solutions, Healthcare, and Sony Biotechnology Europe.

There are two functions in which we offer a graduate role:

- Marketing Graduate Program: you will have the opportunity to work on market research, portfolio benchmarking, and market performance analysis to further support Sony’s business development. You will also gain experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, and channel promotion activities to truly immerse yourself in what it means to be a marketing professional. In order to deepen your knowledge and strengthen relationships with our customers and clients, you will be attending various conferences, exhibitions, and fairs.
- Sales Graduate Program: you will be working with an experienced sales team, developing sales plans, and working towards the achievement of Sony’s key strategic goals. You will gain knowledge in sales coordination, sales pipeline development, sales strategy, tender response support, and in working with various sales tools, leading to your development into a highly professional salesperson. You will also work on further automatisation of structures in the business planning process, helping to increase future commercial performance.

As part of both 2.5-year programs, you will be exposed to a broad range of other business functions including finance, procurement, public relations, and logistics helping you to further develop a holistic view of Sony. Through various business training modules and peer cross-training, you will be given the opportunity to not only expand your knowledge but also to understand where your career could take you.

At the end of your third assignment in April 2025, you will be ready to take on a new responsibility and further develop your career in Sony Europe in a permanent role

You will have:

- A minimum 2:1 degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or similar
- Marketing and Commercial experience gained during placement, internships, or extra-curricular activities
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
- English language (written and spoken), fluency in other European languages (especially German and French) is a plus
- Affinity for technology and desire to grow and develop
