In order to manage current and future projects, Airbus Helicopters is looking for you to join the team in Donauwörth as soon as possible as our new
***#ET11A Mechanical Constructor for Integration of COM/NAV and Mission Systems (d/f/m)**:
The Operator Solutions department manages end to end all activities related to customization (electrical and mechanical integration) according to Airbus Helicopters customer needs for current and future helicopters assembled in Donauwörth (the same helicopters you can see in the sky everywhere in the world, in the mountains for search and rescue, above highways when there is an accident, the ones taking care of firefighting or police helicopters for instance and these are only some examples ). The operator solutions department is in front of these customers to define the best mission architecture and system to serve their operations. The department is responsible for the complete customization chain from concepts, architecture, design, supplier/solution selection, cost details estimation, planning and offer contribution, in-house developments, certification, production support up to customer support.
Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Detail drawings/partlists
- Technical support to final assembly line
- Mechanical installation study drawings and final drawings in CATIA V5
- Components drawing and installation drawing in CATIA V5, SAP and Windchill
- Coordination with final assembly line, production, work preparation, prototype shop, static and many other internal customer but also with suppliers
- Interface to program, chief engineering, support and service
Desired skills and qualifications
- Degree in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable or technician with professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering
- Several years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Very good theoretical and practical knowledge in mechanical construction in aeronautical domain
- Good Knowledge in construction with regard to vibration and aerodynamic
- Experience in aeronautical standards and certification
- Very good CATIA and VPM Knowledge - SAP and Windchill - Google Suite
- Language skills: Business fluency in English and (very) good German skills
