Synthetic Chemist (all genders) Medicinal Chemistry - (permanent / fulltime)

That means:

- The focus of your role will be to prepare biologically active compounds from milligram to gram scale using state of the art organic synthesis and technology.
- You will independently design and execute multi-step synthetic routes from milligram to multi-gram scale.
- You will be involved in the design of compounds and the evaluation of their biological activity working as part of multi-disciplinary project teams.
- You will effectively collaborate within a global chemistry organization and cross functionally with other disciplines.

This is how you make a difference:

- You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and typically 10 years of professional experience, Master's degree or equivalent and typically 8 years of professional experience, Doctorate with initial professional experience in organic chemistry or equivalent experience with profound expertise in preparative organic chemistry and modern synthetic methods.
- You thrive in a lab-based environment working independently within a team of highly motivated chemists.
- You have excellent communication skills in English. Basic knowledge of German would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite.
