Multitude is a listed European FinTech company, offering digital lending and online banking services to consumers, small and medium-sized businesses, and other FinTechs. The services are provided through three independent business units, which are served by our internal Banking-as-a-Service Growth Platform. Multitude’s business units are consumer banking (Ferratum), business banking (CapitalBox) and wholesale banking (Multitude Bank). **Position Overview**:
As the Head of Group Tax Management for our international organization, you will play a crucial role in managing tax topics across our European group of entities with a global footprint. You will be responsible for providing strategic tax guidance, managing tax compliance, and advising our finance team and business owners on tax-related matters.

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong understanding of international tax regulations, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex tax landscapes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement global tax strategies aligned with the company's financial objectives and risk appetite.
- Oversee and manage tax compliance across all entities, ensuring adherence to local and international tax laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the CFO and to business owners on tax implications related to M&A and other transactions.
- Run tax-related due diligence for M&A and other business transactions.
- Own and manage transfer pricing set-up, processes and documentation.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations, assess their impact on the organization, and take necessary actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal, finance, and business units, to ensure tax considerations are adequately addressed in business decisions and operations.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and mentor a small team of tax professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Conduct periodic tax risk assessments and implement effective controls to mitigate tax-related risks.

**Qualifications**:

- Academic education in tax/ accounting, finance, or a related field. An advanced education level (e.g., Master's, CPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- 8+ years in a senior tax management role, preferably within a multinational financial institution.
- Profound tax advisory experience with a Big-4 companies or international advisory firms.
- Strong knowledge of VAT and international tax regulations in Europe.
- Experience in managing tax issues across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic tax guidance and drive tax-related decision-making within an organization.
- Proven track record of managing transfer pricing in multinational organizations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide practical solutions.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Profound numerical skills.
