**Buyer - Private Label Women Shoes (all genders)**:
As a Buyer for Women Footwear Private Label you are part of a high performing and target driven team. Through your industry and product knowledge and passion for Fashion, you are creating an exciting and competitive own collection. You will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and purchasing footwear products for our consumer. You are working closely with our merchandising team to meet our ambitious profitable growth plans.

**WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:

- Proactive ownership of your assortment, reporting into the Senior Buyer. Determining the creative direction of your assortment, identifying trends,negotiating the best terms for Zalando.
- Together with merchandising, being responsible for defining your seasonal strategy and beyond including budget and assortment planning, whilst consulting the unit owner and strategically important stakeholders. In season monitoring of the OTB and reviewing the performance of your brands, making recommendations and taking action based on valid numbers.
- Maintaining and developing excellent relationships with our external suppliers, always challenging and evolving business to support the Category and Zalando strategy.
- Constant exchange with other departments like marketing, content, photo production and logistics and overarching buying teams is key to your work. You will work cross functionally to drive sales and maximise profit, and ensure we act in line with the whole organisation.
- Extensive knowledge of Footwear

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
- You have a minimum 3 years of buying experience in a Head Office environment, preferably with a background in Footwear
- You have excellent analytical skills, knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel and formulas) and combining the passion for numbers with fashion and trends.
- Negotiation is in your blood, and you are a strong communicator with suppliers and other stakeholders.
- You have strategic communication skills, able to adapt to different levels of leadership.
- Quick thinking and a proactive attitude is part of who you are, meaning you keep on top of things in a fast-paced environment, while embracing collaboration. Team focused attitude whilst ensuring strong independent working practices.
