Advanced proficiency in German and English in both written and verbal communication

Operations is the heart and soul of everything Amazon does. It is thanks to effective operations that items are processed and dispatched to our customers on time. As a Process Assistant you will oversee the daily operations of up to five of our Direct Fulfillment sites. You will drive the pulse of our operations on the ground and play a key role in getting our customers’ orders out to them in every step of the chain.
You will be responsible for coordinating the operational processes and workflow of Amazon customer orders, monitoring of several key performance indicators and constant communication with the vendor, his logistics service provider as well as our internal stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and provide important operational information to front line management to ensure operational excellence across all operations
- Support our transportation team in managing daily volume changes and optimize the transportation
- Support of reviewing the main KPI’s with the front line managers
- Work with other departments to find solutions to address common issues or support needs in areas of key performance
- Use data analysis to identify ways to optimize safety, quality and productivity
A day in the life
As a Process Assistant you will look after up to 5 Key Direct Fulfillment Vendors of Amazon. You’ll support the representatives to carry out the plan for the daily operation. That will involve monitoring daily volumes and meetings with the Vendor on a regular basis. At the same time you will ensure that within amazon Systems all systems are enabling the vendor to perform. At the end you ensure that the right transportation providers pick up the Vendors packages and deliver these with a smile to our customers.
