Your Mission

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Functional Owner to join our team. The Functional Owner will play a critical role in defining and managing the functional aspects of our projects applicable to multiple system generations and multiple car lines. This position requires a strong understanding of business processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The Functional Owner will ensure that our projects meet the desired business goals and objectives.

Sneak preview of your future tasks
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for projects. This includes understanding business processes, user needs, and performance objectives.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear and effective communication. Translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Create functional specifications and design documents that outline the system's functionality, user interfaces, and workflows.
- Define and prioritize project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Manage project timelines and ensure projects stay on track to meet business objectives.
- Defines KPIs and performance per function in alignment with system requirements
- Participate in quality assurance processes, including user acceptance testing, to ensure that the end product meets business requirements.
- Manage change requests and assess their impact on the project. Ensure that any changes align with the project's goals and objectives.
- Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success and develop mitigation strategies.
- Create and provide training materials and documentation to support end-users in understanding and using the system effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and optimization of existing systems or processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Your Profile

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Electrical or Computer Engineering).

**Experience**:

- 4+ years of experience as a Functional Owner or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with software development processes and understanding of technical concepts.
- Complete project life cycle experience, including operations.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, e.g: C, C++, Python, Java, Go.

Language skills:

- Proficiency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
