We're looking for a motivated and driven **Middle level Technical** **Product Owner** to join our Booking Platform Team in **Munich**. Join the team that powers our entire business
The Platform Team is the backbone of our services, handling hundreds of millions of transactions annually and delivering rock-solid APIs for both internal and external partners. As the foundation of all customer-facing features, this team drives innovation and plays a critical role in every strategic initiative we undertake. **Your Tasks - Paint the world green**:
- You work with key stakeholders to define, design, implement and optimise the booking funnel experience
- You own, prioritise and refine the product backlog, in line with the strategic vision. Going beyond user story writing to own and push the product forward
- You have a good understanding of emerging technologies and align the roadmap with the product backlog and vice versa
- You create and maintain an exceptional understanding of the customer and their current and future needs
- Make the role your own, taking ownership of your responsibilities and bringing your strengths to your role and the PO community
**Your Profile - Ready to hop on board**:
- You bring 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner with close collaboration to product teams
- You are a strong communicator and can get peers, management and stakeholders on board
- You have a solid understanding of technical aspects - APIs and partner integrations
- You bring fresh ideas and challenge the status quo, seeking novel solutions to problems. You effectively communicate the impact of these ideas and create plans to implement them
- You thrive on understanding the 'why' behind things, not just concentrating on the 'what' and 'how' of product development
- You have experience in project management/coordination
- Being a lateral leader and a community builder, you have ability to moderate and adapt communication/presentation quickly to groups with heterogeneous technical backgrounds
- You understand Agile Software Product development principles and techniques (e.g. User Story Mapping, Impact Mapping, Lean, Design Thinking, etc.)
- You'll bring openness, mutual respect and understanding, curiosity and positive attitude to collaborations across the domain and company
- You thrive in an environment embedded with freedom and don't need constant guidance
- Your English is fluent
**Nice to have**:
- Experience with SQL, Snowflake for making data-driven decisions
- Experience with event driven systems
- Experience working in an e-commerce or marketing environment
