We are now looking for a
Wood Purchaser (M/F/d)
to join our team in Augsburg.
What you’ll do
- Manage current suppliers, attract and select new ones
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers
- Purchase wood free roadside and on stumpage
- Control volume and quality of wood assortments
- Ensure supply of planned volumes
- Organize Safety Walks and Safety Discussions with contractors
- Take responsibility of invoicing process
- Cooperate closely with Logistics and DSP
Who you are
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Forestry or comparable education
- You have experience in purchasing wood - would be considered as asset
- You have good negotiation skills and are assertive
- You like working in a highly motivated team
- You are willing to travel
