- Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers.

To support our team in Münich, Germany, we are looking for a:
**Junior Intake Coordinator (f/m/d)**

As a Junior Intake Coordinator, when patients are prescribed Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy, you will be responsible for gathering and managing the required documentation from the physician or their practice across Germany. You will ensure that this documentation is correctly collected and recorded in our system. Your contribution will support our team in fostering a seamless relationship among the health insurance provider, patient, and physician, streamlining the reimbursement process, and enhancing the overall patient experience throughout their treatment.

Your responsibilities:

- Handle and process prescriptions, making sure data entry and documentation are accurate.
- Be the main point of contact for treatment sites (practices and/or physicians), managing all communications and coordinating updates on patient status. Ensure all activities across treatment sites are well-organized.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with treatment site staff. Understand their processes and adapt communications to fit their needs.
- Use company databases and related software according to standard procedures. Work independently with mínimal supervision while coordinating with other team members.

Your profile:

- At least couple of years of experience in a patient support environment preferred (e.g., as a Nurse, MFA (Medizinische/r Fachangestellte/r), or PTA (Pharmazeutisch-Technische/r Assistent/in)).
- Excellent phone and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Familiarity with basic medical and insurance terminology and experience with healthcare systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP will be a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to set priorities.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and cooperatively in a fast-paced office setting.
