Student Trainee

**Your Tasks and Responsibilities**:
You will provide valuable support to our lab teams on a part-time basis (e.g 10 h/ week) by assisting in various lab operations to ensure smooth and safe functioning. Your responsibilities will include:

- Precise preparation of buffers, media, and laboratory consumables to ensure accurate measurements and sterile conditions
- Cleaning and sterilization of laboratory glassware
- Autoclaving of solid and liquid waste to ensure safe disposal of biological materials
- Assistance with the organization of delivered items, ensuring proper sorting and storage
- Assistance with the organization of storage areas, and overall laboratory organization
- Assistance with the selection and implementation of an Inventory Tracking System for streamlining resource management

**What we are looking for**:
You are a person who is well organized, service-oriented, thorough, and diligent in your task completion. You are currently enrolled in a study program in the life science field (M.Sc.) and you have
- Hands-on experience in biological laboratories through your bachelor/master thesis, external internships or several lab courses
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
