**Duties**:
The incumbent acts as the U.S. Consulate's primary point of contact for logístical visitor support. S/he independently arranges and coordinates with the appropriate in-house departments logístical support, to include lodging, transportation, airport arrival and departure support, and the procurement of goods and services for United States Government (USG) visitors coming to Munich's consular districts. S/He further assists agencies/offices with planning conferences.
**Qualifications and Evaluations**:
- Requirements:
Three years of progressively responsible experience in the travel field, or closely related services-oriented field are required.
- Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
- Evaluations:
English: fluent language skills (speaking/reading/writing) are required (this may be tested).
German: fluent language skills (speaking/reading/writing) are required (this may be tested).
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
- Knowledge of the area, transportation systems, sites, hotels, theatres etc.
- Sound geographical knowledge
- Customer service skills as well as commonly used software such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate with all levels of officials by phone and in person
- Ability to interpret official documents and regulations
- Must have a valid Class B driving license.
