Group Accountant

**My duties**
- Support of preparation, consolidation and review of Financial Statements for the Financial Service
- Monitoring the reporting of the FS subsidiaries and ensuring the deadlines in group closing is adhered to support the accurate and timeliness of reporting/presentation for actual and planning periods
- Review and analyze the submitted reporting packages for technical interpretation, strategy and consistency
- Prepare and collate commentaries for variances analyses
- Liaise with Controlling for information exchange and reconciliation for Financial Reporting (Actuals and Planning)
- Coordinate with the other business segments, Controlling, Group Auditor and other central Accounting areas
- Support internal control (ICS) activities for assurance of compliance
- Support remediation activities of identified deficiencies (CA, external Auditor, ICS)
- Support with special topics and project work (e.g. Changes with regards to Project Fokus, OneERP)
- Accounting counterpart for M&A related projects

**My qualifications**
- University degree or equivalent education in Finance & Accounting
- IFRS knowledge and professional experience in Controlling, Accounting, external Audit/Assurance services
- Familiarity with accounting / reporting systems SAP, cbFC, MIF
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Professional qualifications like ACCA/CIMA/CPA or comparable/similar are a plus
- Communication skills in English, Spanish skills are beneficial
