Scope of workfull-time position suitable for part-time**Responsibilities**:
Duties primarily include teaching and research. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
Theoretical and computational research on the topic of superconductivity in correlated electron systems with special foci on multiorbital and 2D moiré systems. Development of corresponding many-body methods and coupling to ab initio methods. The successful applicant is expected to combine electronic structure methods with Green function based many-body methods in the theory of superconductivity. Teaching of four teaching hours per week during teaching times (4 LVS).
**Profile**:
A university degree in a relevant field.
A PhD in a relevant field or a strong record in scientific work equivalent to a PhD degree (having handed in the dissertation at least).
Detailed knowledge in many-body techniques and computational approaches to correlated electrons and/or superconducting systems such as Eliashberg theory, many-body Green functions, superconducting density functional theory, or dynamical mean field theory.
