**Executive Director Opto-Mechanical Engineering (M/F/d)**

**Your tasks**:

- Manage Opto-Mechanical Engineering (OME) to strive for excellence by optimizing optical and mechanical core competences as well as processes
- Manage all global OME resources to achieve the goals of the project teams
- Guide the overall resource loading and resource allocation for OME products for the entire lifecycle
- Monitor deliverables throughout the lifecycle to assure compliance with our quality system
- Responsible for the development/training/coaching of the OME resource managers/supervisors
- Ensure company’s quality system is adhered to by all OME resources, relevant and followed
- Member of continuous improvement teams undertaking projects and seeking ways to improve the quality of KARL STORZ products and services

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's/ Master's degree or diploma in an engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years Management experience, including a strong knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Minimum 8 years of experience operating in an International Product Development environment
- Basic ERP software experience required, including information and reporting systems
- Experience in Projectmangement and Technical Product knowledge
- Knowledge of medical device quality system regulations and standards and in Software (3D CAD or similar)
- People Manager
- Good problem solving and negotiating skills
- German and English business fluent
