Die Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS) ist eine internationale, gemeinnützige Schule mit den Schwerpunkten Naturwissenschaften, Musik und Tanz. Die BCS hat einen Kindergarten und Vorschule, sowie eine Grundschule und ein Gymnasium an. Der Kindergarten und die Vorschule wurden 2004 gegründet, die Grundschule 2007 und das Gymnasium im Jahr 2009.

Die BCS mit ihren zwei Standorten liegt im Zentrum von Berlin Mitte, einer ruhigen Gegend zwischen Alexanderplatz, Monbijou Park, Hackescher Markt & Prenzlauer Berg. Über 820 Kinder und Schüler sowie 170 Mitarbeitende aus über 44 Ländern gehören zur Community der Berlin Cosmopolitan School.

**Englischlehrer*in (m/w/d)**

**(für das Gymnasium)**

**(zeitlich begrenzt ca. 10 Wochen)**

**Ihre Aufgaben**
- Planung und Durchführung von Englischunterricht für Gymnasiastinnen und Gymnasiasten
- Entwicklung von altersgerechten Lehrplänen und Unterrichtsmaterialien
- Förderung der sprachlichen und literarischen Kompetenz der Lernenden
- Durchführung von Projekten und Aktivitäten zur Vertiefung der englischen Sprachkenntnisse
- Regelmäßige Kommunikation mit Eltern und Erziehungsberechtigten
- Beobachtung und Dokumentation der individuellen Lernfortschritte der Schülerinnen und Schüler
- Teilnahme an schulischen Veranstaltungen und Elternabenden
- Zusammenarbeit mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen zur ganzheitlichen Förderung der Schülerinnen und Schüler

**Ihr Profil**
- Lehrbefähigung für Englisch in der Sekundarstufe II
- Leidenschaft für die Arbeit mit Schüler des Gymnasiums
- Fähigkeit, die Sprachkompetenzen der Schüler zu fördern
- Fachkompetenz und pädagogisches Geschick
- Engagement und Zuverlässigkeit
- Teamorientierung und Kreativität
- Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen
- Erfahrung in einem internationalen und multikulturellen Umfeld wünschenswert

The Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS) is an international, non-profit school with a focus on natural sciences, music, and dance. BCS offers a kindergarten and preschool, as well as an elementary school and a high school. The kindergarten and preschool were founded in 2004, the elementary school in 2007, and the high school in 2009. BCS is located at two sites in the heart of Berlin Mitte, a quiet area between Alexanderplatz, Monbijou Park, Hackescher Markt, and Prenzlauer Berg. Over 820 children and students, as well as 170 staff members from more than 44 countries, are part of the Berlin Cosmopolitan School community.

**English Teacher (M/F/d)**
**(for Secondary School)**
**(Temporary Position, Approximately 10 Weeks)**

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Planning and delivering English lessons for secondary school students
- Developing age-appropriate curricula and teaching materials
- Promoting students' linguistic and literary skills
- Conducting projects and activities to deepen students' English language proficiency
- Regular communication with parents and guardians
- Monitoring and documenting individual student learning progress
- Participating in school events and parent-teacher meetings
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide holistic support for students

**Your Profile**:

- Qualification to teach English at the secondary level (Grades 7-12)
- Passion for working with secondary school students
- Ability to enhance students' language competencies
- Subject matter expertise and pedagogical skills
