Wir suchen einen fähigen und erfahrenen Avatar Character Technical Director zur Verstärkung unseres Teams. Als erfolgreicher Kandidat / erfolgreiche Kandidatin bist du für die Entwicklung performanter Spiel-Avatare für Meta Quest 2 unter Verwendung der Unity-Engine verantwortlich. Wenn du dich für VR begeisterst und einen fundierten Hintergrund in Charakteranimation und Rigging hast, könntest du der/die Richtige sein

**Das erwartet dich bei uns**
- Design, Entwicklung und Pflege von performanten Spiel-Avataren in Blender / Unity
- Optimierung der Avatare für effiziente Leistung im Multiuser-VR-Spiel auf Meta Quest 2
- Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Künstlern und Programmierern, um das Optimum zwischen visueller Wiedergabetreue und Leistung zu erreichen
- Entwicklung eines benutzerdefinierten Avatar-Kalibrierungssystems durch Skalierung der einzelnen Körperteile
- Entwicklung und Pflege von Animationspipelines und Unity-Animationsbäumen
- Entwicklung und Pflege der Dokumentation für technische und kreative Prozesse
- Identifizierung und Lösung technischer Probleme im Zusammenhang mit LOD-Systemen und VR-spezifischen Herausforderungen wie Ganzkörper-IK
- Bleib auf dem Laufenden über die neuesten Entwicklungen in der VR-Technologie und der Unity Engine

**Das bringst du mit**
- Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung als Character TD oder in einer ähnlichen Funktion
- Beherrschung von Blender / Unity und dessen Animationssystemen
- Gute Kenntnisse von Rigging
- und Animationsgrundlagen sowie Skinning-Techniken
- Erfahrung mit der Pipelineentwicklung von Blender zu Unity (Python)
- Gute Kenntnisse in C# und Unity Editor Scripting
- Ausgeprägte Problemlösungsfähigkeiten und Liebe zum Detail
- Ausgezeichnete Kommunikations
- und Kooperationsfähigkeiten
