**About the Role**:We are looking for a circularity expert (f/m/d) to provide thought leadership, develop and align a strategic roadmap towards our divisional vision to unlock new levels of performance and sustainability and help prioritize and guide circular economy initiatives throughout our global Fabrics business. This role will be part of our Sustainability Team with very close links to our business, innovation, and supply chain teams.

This position will be located at one of our facilities in Europe or the United States, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and continually develop an aligned strategic roadmap to our divisional ambition to lead the industry in key circular principles for high performance apparel i.e. reduce waste and pollution, circulate products and materials at their highest value
- Utilize internal and external resources to benchmark our current position, drive clarity on targeted performance, and evaluate how to close gaps in coordination with the business and in a sustaining way
- Be the circularity expert in key divisional projects, proving knowledge, guidance and support e.g. support the development, implementation and sustainment of a Fabrics End of Life strategy, help evaluate and influence the implementation of opportunities for innovative sustainable materials, guide the development and implementation of business models and projects to circulate products and materials at their highest value
- Identify and prioritize future data requirements and reporting needs related to circularity, and create a plan of action to meet these needs
- Represent Gore at conferences and in industry working groups with other GORE partners to influence thought leadership discussions related to circular economy
- Drive process together with Legal, Stakeholder Engagement and Business to assess urgency and impact of circular economy regulations for the Fabrics Division, help prioritize work and influence to ensure implementation of actions and sustainment in the business

**Required Qualifications**:

- Degree in Sustainability, Operations, Engineering or Business Administration
- Substantial understanding of circular economy principles and demonstrated ability in managing and implementing complex projects in a global, cross functional environment
- Strong project management skills, highly organized with an ability to hold the broader process while maintaining an attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial and action-oriented with an ability to both self-manage and collaborate, ability to inspire and motivate others to get engaged
- Proven effectiveness in influencing and integrating within organizations to drive successful outcomes
- Highly effective communication skills internally, cross culturally and externally
- Fluency in English
- About 20% travel

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Work experience in industries/companies leading the circular journey is a plus
