Shift Lead

Do you have what it takes to lead a team in a complex automotive environment? Be part of the process of how a car is being put together. In this automotive environment we are looking for an experienced Shift Leader, based in Rastatt, to issue instructions to team leaders and production assistants; ensure and optimise logístical processes at the location; monitor adherence to quality standards, carrying out error analyses (FMEA, 8D reports); monitor & document shutdown measures and to participate in special tasks and projects. **Your responsibilities**:

- Responsible for monitoring the timely fulfilment of orders
- Leading and controlling a shift in Operations
- Organising, monitoring, evaluating and regulating production processes
- Responsible for monitoring order quality and, if necessary, taking corrective action in the event of errors
- Responsible for personnel planning, personnel registration, personnel development and staff appraisals
- Responsible for achieving the specified key figures in cooperation with the subordinate team leaders
- Ensuring occupational safety in accordance with legal and customer requirements
- Ensuring reporting to the client and management
- Contributing to the optimisation of the subordinate areas in production and personnel planning
- Working closely with the customer, teamleaders, human resources, engineering and quality assurance to ensure a smooth production flow
- Preparation of training documentation and supervision of training activities by the team leaders
- Carrying out training, further education and training of the employees
- Supervising the creation of process descriptions / work instructions / forms
- Ensuring the flow of information to the employees

**Your profile**:

- Completed technical or commercial vocational training, further training as a master craftsman / technician, mid. 5-10 years of professional experience
- Experienced in warehousing environment, understanding of process flows (in logistics)
- People manager: you like to work with people as well as bringing structure into a team
- Commercial mindset / business acumen, strong organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, flexibility, quality consciousness, team player
- Language skills: German or French; English is desirable
- IT: Word, Excel on Windows interface, Adicom PZW desirable, knowledge of Mercedes Benz customer system desirable
