**The role**:
The Product Owner for Company Finance role is being offered to ensure that the accounting and general ledger capabilities of Netsuite are effectively being applied, both from the existing transformation of functions from the legacy Finance system, and with the incorporation of new capabilities of Netsuite ERP.
ICE applies product-centric and agile delivery practices in the development of its solutions, and so you would play a decisive role in their creation, closely collaborating with highly performing engineering and business teams. This means working with teams across Finance, Product and Engineering domains.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- The product owner will be responsible for the growth, innovation, and success of their product, encompassing the complete product’s lifecycle, from idea to launch, and then throughout its future growth.
- Will contribute to defining the vision and strategy for the overall Company Finance domain.
- Will be working in close partnership with Finance personnel, the Product Manager and respective business representatives to deliver the product vision. The role will also require engagement with the Product Owner for Data Analytics, ensuring finance data is correctly reported in the company analytics platform.
- Will need to develop a deep understanding of Company Finance capabilities, and how the Finance team requirements can be derived from Netsuite functions.
**Detailed responsibilities will include**:
- Implement Netsuite accounting features, both for accounting practices and reporting
- Ensure trial balance reports are correctly calibrated for business needs
- Creating and maintaining the product roadmap and ensuring it aligns with the roadmap across the Company Finance domain
- Maintain the product and sprint backlog in collaboration with the business teams (and engineering if required)
- Validating and presenting how sprint backlog is prioritised against product goals and work with the product team to define sprint goals
- Refining, clarifying and prioritising items in the backlog
- Ensuring that the contents of an upcoming sprint are achievable, and all necessary inputs have been provided
- Incorporating the feedback from sprint reviews or retrospectives into the planning for future cycles
- Working collaboratively with the relevant teams to refine and clarify requirements or user stories, so that they can be successfully implemented
- Remaining abreast of the latest trends, practices and thinking within product management
- Having regular interaction with customers and other key stakeholders of their product
- Conducting research and experiments to test product hypothesises and concepts
- Working in close partnership with the Product Manager for the Finance and Data Analytics domain and other Product Owners within the domain.
