**Responsibilities**:
As a valued member of the Contracts Division within the Administration Department, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities, including:

- Developing procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives to ensure optimal value and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Providing expert guidance on contractual matters and advising on effective procurement approaches within established financial regulations and contract procedures.
- Enhancing and modernizing the procurement and service contract framework to adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Managing contract preparation and engaging in negotiations with external stakeholders.
- Monitoring procurement process efficiency and ensuring compliance with financial rules, recommending revisions as necessary.
- Establishing annual Procurement Plans and securing approval for significant service procurements.
- Reporting on failed procurements and proposing measures to enhance competition.
- Facilitating annual Industrial Focal Point meetings with Member States representatives.
- Providing clear direction and targets for the procurement function, effectively managing divisional staff.

**Background/Experience**:

- A solid background in procurement, contract management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing procurement strategies and overseeing procurement processes.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and contract procedures.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role within an international organization is advantageous but not mandatory.

**Salary**: 150.000,00€ - 200.000,00€ per year

**Experience**:

- Contract Negotiation: 5 years (preferred)
- aerospace or defence industry: 5 years (preferred)
- Procurement: 5 years (required)
