**Our Profile**:
ANTS searches and analyses in research and teaching for solutions and methods to make anthropogenic material flows recyclable. Thus, we aim to develop a raw material management at the product and material level as well as to demonstrate and to implement it by means of practical examples. With its previous expertise, the department is one of the leading research institutions in Europe in the field of mechanical and sensor-based processing technology. The institute combines the modelling and evaluation of recycling processes with a view to entire product systems and life cycles in the context of a circular economy and complements this expertise with technical implementation and demonstration.

**Your Profile**:

- Interest in the topic.
- Background knowledge in environmental assessment and circular economy, as well as experience in modeling with LCA software are advantageous.
- Flexible availability.
- Ability to work independently as well as willingness to work in a team.
- Good knowledge of the MS Office package.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English.
- Current studies at a university or university of applied sciences.

**Your Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conducting literature research on topics such as environmental assessment and circular economy.
- Creating LCA models using the openLCA software and analyzing the results.
- Contributing to the preparation of presentations and reports.
- Undertaking general tasks and potentially supporting other projects at the institute.

**What We Offer**:
The position is to be filled by 5/1/2024 and offered for a fixed term of 3 months.
A long-term cooperation is desired.
This is a part-time contract position.
The standard weekly hours will be 8 hours.
The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.
The position corresponds to a pay grade of 13,00 € per hour.
