Structure Fatigue

In order to support the Fuselage Airframe team, Airbus Commercial is looking for a

**Structure Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Analysis - Fuselage Airframe (d/f/m)**:
You will be part of an engaged team of development engineers in the fuselage primary structure perimeter taking care of the incremental development of all Airbus commercial programs and derivatives. Working on feasibility studies and supporting in the detailed design and certification phase will be part of your job as well as supporting customer service requests.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Analyze and metallic, composite & hybrid structures for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance according to validated methods
- Check adherence to regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines
- Define tests and predict test results
- Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Provide relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacture and support to other functions (i.e. production, customer support) as needed
- analysis structure repairs and damaged scenarios
- Perform monitoring and support of Sub-contracting firms providing structure analysis work

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- Engineering Degree in Aerospace or comparable
- First experience in Structure Analysis, ideally Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Methods
- Toolset experience preferred: ISAMI, Altair Hyperworks, Nastran, NASGRO,PASS SSCI, TREND
- Programming skills preferred: Python
- Project management fundamentals
- Open and curious mindset, practical and agile approach
- Open-minded for new ways of working
- English and German at negotiation level
