**ABOUT THE TRANSPORTATION SEGMENT AND THE AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESS UNIT**:
TE operates through three customer facing Segments: Transportation Solutions, Industrial Solutions, and Communication Solutions. The Transportation Solutions Segment ($9B in net sales) consists of three business units: Automotive, Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT), and Sensors.

As a $6.5 Billion Dollar business unit, the Automotive BU is the largest revenue generating business in TE Connectivity. The Automotive BU comprises over 35,000 employees (7500+Engineers) and has a global presence in 47 locations. Our 50-plus years of experience in automotive connectivity and high voltage power enables our customers to stay close to evolving trends such as safety, the environment, and consumer lifestyle preferences. Our products connect nearly every electrical function in cars — from alternative power systems to infotainment and sensor technologies. ROLE REPORTING AND LOCATION

This position can be based remotely in most locations in Germany.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of the business, driving business performance, providing business insight, leading business unit planning, analysis, controlling and continuous improvement, and driving the organizational talent agenda through development, diversity, retention, and recruitment efforts. These positions serve as exceptional business partners to a General Manager (either at the enterprise, segment, BU, regional or sub-vertical level).
- Responsible for Project Controlling AUT EMEA including cost engineering
- Supports the Project Management organization that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments
- Business Partner for Project Management
- Ensures target setting with commercial project staff and delegation of defined responsibilities and authority
- Ensures the compliance with the PAC guidelines for all commercial aspects
- Establish a project controlling mindset for the full life cycle of a project
- Investment Controlling / CAPEX Controlling (planning and controlling)
- Preparation of business cases
- Working as a finance business partner for various product lines in a matrix organization - drives improvements to improve financial performance (Cash and OI)
- Lead and develop an organization of 30 people

**What your background should look like**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience combining several experiences in BU-Controlling, Operations Controlling, Project-Controlling
- Ability to effectively work under pressure and to meet challenging targets.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions and Business Leaders
- Experience leading teams in a matrixed environment; demonstrable success in creating a controlling strategy and driving implementation
- Have demonstrated strong leadership skills in leading a team, including experience building and developing highly motivated employees
- High level of accountability
- Hands on mentality
