- Become an essential part of a highly qualified and motivated team, which is responsible for solving the most complex issues of group financial reporting
- Independently identify and analyse critical accounting areas and topics and develop tailored accounting solutions
- Support & advise groupwide projects (e.g. M&A) regarding accounting impacts
- Processing and audit-proof solution of complex fundamental issues of accounting and external reporting in the E.ON Group
- Specification and further development of Group accounting and valuation standards and E.ON's IFRS Accounting Guideline; lead and drive group wide implementation projects
- Be an active part of the groupwide accounting organization working together with E.ON's subsidiaries, Finance Services and other HQ departments internationally

**A convincing background**
- Graduate degree in Business Administration / Economics with focus on international financial reporting (IFRS) with strong academic record or similar qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the area of accounting according to IFRS in an international major corporation or a Big 4 audit company
- An exam as auditor or tax consultant or a doctorate would be appreciated
- Expert knowledge of IFRS, preferably also in the area of financial instruments (IFRS 9)
- Strong analytical skills combined with pragmatic spirit
- Team player with good communication skills coupled with assertiveness
- Well-developed stakeholder management skills and ability for good interdepartmental "cooperation" with an ability to build trustful relations
- High level of self-organisation, commitment, personal drive and energy as well as high willingness to constantly learn and develop and to drive change
- Ability to work under pressure and stick to tight deadlines
- Fluent in German and Business English
