Team Lead Cloud Infrastructure

Our Client in Berlin is a rapidly growing tech company with a huge drive and focus coming into 2020 on AI & Machine Learning. Working as the Team Lead Cloud Engineering you'll be purely focused on scaling their AWS cloud infrastructure.
Ideally, you will come from a marketing/ecommerce/ad-tech background for the hands-on experience with customer data and recommendation systems, but they are not limiting themselves to these areas. Furthermore, since the role is revolving around scaling up their cloud infrastructure you'll be enabling the teams to ship fast, run rock-solid and secure production systems and help them anticipate and manage infrastructure challenges. This role reports directly into the CTO - so has a real impact on the company and team - not just the tech.
Their tech stack is largely based on python with AWS so IAAC (terraform, ansible ETC) with Docker running on ECS and autoscalability is pretty needed. Outside of that, they want someone who really wants to grow & learn with them.
Finally, this role is very integral to the business and is product governed, not budget governed, so it means you’ll be building and improving the base for this company to scale and grow into one of the largest global players - not just working on what's feasible giving you a real direct impact.
