humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice

to governments and migrants.

IOM works to help ensure the orderly and humane management of migration to promote

international cooperation on migration issues, to assist in the search for practical solutions to

migration problems and to provide humanitarian assistance to migrants in need, including

refugees and internally displaced people.

Resettlement and Humanitarian Admissions to Germany are international protection tools for

refugees who are particularly vulnerable. It enables them to leave a first country of asylum

safely and legally and provides them with a durable solution in Germany.

Under the overall supervision of the Senior National Policy and Programme Officer and the

direct supervision of the National Project Officer, and in close collaboration with the relevant

Departments in HQ and Regional Office, as well as close cooperation with other IOM Regional

Offices and Country Offices, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the

implementation of the pre-departure integration model project within resettlement and

humanitarian admission programmes.

We seek exceptional curriculum developers/instructional designers for the researching and

development of various curriculum materials, such as a participant workbook. The incumbent

will further develop the content for a mobile app and be responsible for the inter-linking of

pre-departure and post-arrival integration actors as well as the setting up of relevant webinars

and exchange visits.

SECTION 2

Core Functions / Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities, including designing
and developing learner-centric materials, such as an educational training workbook and

online content for a self-learner app as well as organizing of exchanges, webinars,

workshops, and a final project event.

2. Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyse, and present information/data on specific
project topics.***

3. Monitor budget; verify availability of funds; obtain necessary approval and update
budget related information.

4. Act as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation, involving
extensive liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate

requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions,

etc.***

5. Draft status reports, identifying shortfalls in delivery, bring them to the attention of the
supervisor and suggest remedial actions.***

6. Draft correspondence on project; prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics,
statistical tables, presentation and other forms of documentation.

7. Respond to complex information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain
files/records; organize meetings, workshops, exchanges, and project events;
8. Participate in meetings and conferences; assist in coordinating implementation
activities with local authorities, partners, United Nation agencies, intergovernmental

and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders relevant to the

project.

9. Assist in monitoring work of implementing partners and report non-compliances to the
supervisor.

10. Perform such other related duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience

EDUCATION
- University degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Pedagogical

Studies or related fields from an accredited academic institution with at least three
years of relevant professional experience, preferably in similar roles;

- Completed High School degree from an accredited academic institution, with at

least five years of relevant working experience, preferably in similar roles.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Experience liaising with governmental authorities, national/international

institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations;
