**Job Description**:
Job Summary:
This includes:

- Setting and implementing strategic and operational plans, together with the management team, to achieve the SGS mission and objectives in Germany and the NCE Region.
- Managing P&L and driving the overall business in line with economic and financial, environmental and social issues (Unions, works councils, employee welfare, OI, etc)
- Driving growth initiatives to achieve financial targets.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Responsible for driving revenue and maintaining agreed upon profit targets and regularly review business performance against budget targets and implement actions to ensure achievement including the development of key metrics by which to constantly measure business success
- Collaborate with Group Business colleagues to develop a medium-term growth strategy and annual business plans/Budgets
- Ensure clear business plans are in place (covering all aspects of the business - commercial and operations) for each business line.
- Take Management and Strategy decisions to improve affiliate performance & Delivery
- Ensure consistent service delivery quality according to customer feedback
- Implement group standard processes in the country related to IT, HR, Legal, Compliance, Finance, OI (Health & Safety), Diversity targets, etc.
- Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Statement of Integrity
- Build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with the SGS's goals and culture
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring that the company remains competitive and agile
- Foster robust relationships with the various Unions in SGS Germany
- Communicate and Cooperate with the COO, EVP’s, Functions to ensure SGS Germany alignment to group priorities
- Act as the SGS ambassador to promote SGS brand to the customer
- Be close to the market and competition in order to identify and explore opportunities for growth (new services & acquisitions)
- Support international sales activity led directly by the Business
- Minimize costs without compromising sales and service delivery
- Lead the way in improving SGS Diversity targets in SGS Germany

**Qualifications**:

- Master degree in business administration or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a focus on P&L management and driving growth
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute on complex strategies
- Must be able to work in a multi Business Group Matrix environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, financial statements, and financial reporting
- Ability to manage risk and compliance issues effectively
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Proven track record of driving growth in a competitive market
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to make informed decisions
- Fluency in German and English are required
