**Background**

H&MV Engineering is a market leader in delivering mission critical facilities to both the transmission and distribution utilities and renewables sectors globally. We are experts in delivering engineering, procurement and construction projects from concept design and planning through to project execution. We work across the EMEA region and our head office is in Limerick, Ireland.

As we continue to expand our operations across Germany and take on new and exciting projects, we recognize the pivotal role that our people play in our success. We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Sr Talent Acquisition Partner to help in the ongoing build out of our German workforce.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent within the Electrical / High Voltage Engineering sector in Germany.
- Partner with many senior leaders across the business to help drive their recruiting strategies and meet hiring goals.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, priorities, and project requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and talent acquisition processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform recruitment strategies and enhance our competitive advantage.
- Offer insights and expertise on local legislation, compliance requirements, and HR policies relevant to recruitment activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of certain local HR initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (6+ years) as a Talent Acquisition Partner or similar role within the construction/engineering sector in Germany.
- Fluent in German and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive network and deep understanding of the construction/engineering industry in Germany, including key players, market trends, and talent pools.
- Strong knowledge of German compensation and benefits offerings across different roles and levels - hiring both in country and relocating talent internationally.
- Strong knowledge of local legislation, labor laws, and compliance requirements related to recruitment and HR practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and negotiate effectively across all levels, including executive.
- Proactive mindset, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement and achieve recruitment objectives.
- Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, and other recruitment tools/software.
