Senior Director Program Management for Automotive

You describe yourself as a natural driver and semiconductor development expert with great networking capabilities? You are open to new ideas and push them to their full implementation? As Senior Director Program Management for multiple product development projects you define strategic project targets and follow up on project execution. You take ownership for the success of the product development in your portfolio, interact with customers and release the project milestones. In this role you will directly report to the Product Line head.

In your new role you will:

- **Strengthen our program management organization **and be a key member of the product line leadership team
- **Drive multi-site and cross-functional product development programs **in accordance with the Business Line and Product Line strategy
- **Act as the product line representative and stakeholder **interfacing with project managers and the R&D organization
- **As Project Owner, define strategic project targets **(budget, time, scope) and ensure the projects are executed within these boundaries
- **Contribute to the product line strategy process **and own the product development aspect of strategy deployment
- **Drive analysis of optional approaches and feasibility in an early stage **, in order to ensure a structured decision making
- **Mediate and decide in case of conflicting goals between projects and line functions **and play an active role in resolving resource bottlenecks

With your passion and good business sense, you develop new and creative ideas. You can inspire others and encourage them for the common objective. You have strong analytical skills and remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations.

With your technical background and as mediator you can motivate various stakeholders to reach out for ambitious goal achievements.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A degree in **Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar**:

- At least 10 years of **experience in automotive or semiconductor industry **within R&D in different departments,
- Thereof preferably more than 5 years of **experience in project management or functional leadership**:

- **Experience in target setting for projects **as well as escalation and problem management with a strong focus on solution finding
- **Experience in guiding interdisciplinary and international teams **within a multi-cultural environment
- **Understanding of the Project Owner role **for projects of various complexity
- In complex and interlinked situations, have a **strong ability to analyze, provide and communicate professionally**:

- **Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English **to interact successfully with various seniority levels and stakeholders
