**Organization**

Intertek’s Industry Services team uses expert technical knowledge of industries such as oil & gas, power generation, renewable energy, chemical, construction and transportation to provide a diverse range of innovative Total Quality Assurance solutions that optimize operations while minimizing risks in quality, safety and cost. Some of our key services include vendor inspection, site construction services, asset integrity management, non-destructive & materials testing, 3D laser scanning & dimensional control and energy & water consulting services.

**Stellenbeschreibung**:
For ad hoc inspections at local manufacturers in the DACH- and Benelux Region, we are looking for locally-based Freelance Inspectors (m/w/d/x) in different fields.

**Workplace**: vendor locations in the** DACH- and Benelux Region** (200km RT from your permanent location)

**Start**:as soon as possible, **per assignment and availability**

**Working schedule**: estimated 1-2 assignments per week

Language: English (mandatory), German or Dutch (advanced)

The equipment you will operate with will be provided by local manufacturers.

Standard Training will be provided by Intertek.

**Scope**

Our Technical Experts carry out vendor inspections. They check and verify if the customer's requirements are according to their needs.
- To review the assignment instruction for adequacy and practicality.
- To attend pre-production and other meetings as required.
- To liaise with clients, and others as relevant, in the determination of inspection stages and requirements.
- Inspects drawings, designs, and specifications to be able to ensure all customer requirements and procedures are followed.
- To visit manufacturers, suppliers, installers, and others as necessary to perform or witness the requisite inspections.
- To provide in good time all required reports of the inspections performed/witnessed.
- To ensure all inspection and related activities involved are performed in accordance with requirements as defined To be able to adapt and use the newly implemented technologies within the group

**Anforderungsprofil**:
**Requirements**:
Advantageous Certificates:

- NDT Level II
- International Welding Engineer
- Coating Inspector
- Electrical Inspector
- Aramco Inspector [Mechanical]

**Experience**
- University Degree or equivalent and 5 years of inspection experience
- College Diploma with 10 years of inspection experience
- Minimum of 7 years directly relating to supervision of vendor inspection activities in the Contract Scope of work

**Skill / Attributes / Competencies**
- You are a self-starter, result-oriented and resilient when required
- Skills recommended, Experience in administration QHSE
- A candid team player who collaborates with colleagues to solve problems
