About the Role

Job Responsibilities
- Managing a team of analysts, including allocating workloads, setting priorities for the team, ensuring efficient use of analytical resources, guiding and mentoring analysts;
- Overseeing and contributing to the production of timely, high-quality and insightful credit reports and research notes;
- Leading the development and refinement of rating methodologies and research products;
- Chairing rating committees for new and existing corporate rating mandates;
- Ensuring the integrity and compliance of the rating process;
- Building and managing relations with various different market participants;
- Representing DBRS Morningstar at relevant industry events.

**Qualifications**:

- 12+ years of experience in credit analysis, lending, investment or in a credit rating agency analysis role;
- Extensive research and analytical skills;
- Solid understanding of DBRS Morningstar’s credit rating process and of the policies and procedures governing rating activities;
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team in a dynamic and fluid environment;
- Superior writing, communication and client management skills;
- Self-starter and strong team player who works with a sense of urgency and has a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects;
- Client management capabilities.
