Our fast-moving VC backed start-up surrounding come along with numerous international legal challenges. This is why there are different exciting positions as Legal Counsel with different focus areas, where you could face the challenges with us together You are the right person to join if you are thrilled to work with us to ensure legal cleanliness and implementing professional legal processes and business structures.

**Your responsibilities**
- Together with a growing legal team, you will build scalability to support the air up group to create international success stories
- You support and advertise business teams, including executives, managers, employee relations, information services, and operations regarding compliance with existing and forthcoming labour and employment laws and regulations
- You advertise on issues such as discipline, redundancies, leave, pensions, contractor management and settlement agreements
- You develop and deliver training on compliance with labour and employment laws
- You provide effective cross-functional support inside and outside of the legal department You assist in developing and implementing departmental goals and initiatives
- Depending on your focus expertise, you will have full legal responsibility for our People and Culture department
- You are responsible to ensure that contracts and projects are compliant with internal and external requirements
- You are responsible to build up our internal legal knowledge platform
- You deal directly with our external law consultants and ensure quality and alignment of our external advisors

**That's you**
- You have a German law degree (1. Staatsexamen / 2.Staatsexamen)
- Alternatively, you have a law degree (Bar Exam) of another EU member state
- You are fluent in English and German (C2); further languages are a plus
- We are looking for a mixed team of dynamic and more experienced legal counsels: You gained 2 to open end years of relevant experience in an international corporate law firm or alternatively as an in-house legal counsel in a startup
- You have a high level commitment and the ability to work under pressure, a confident attitude and strong communication skills
- You love to connect dots and think 360°, taking not only the legal point of view but also the business point of view into account
- Unknown areas motivate you - within a matter of days you become immersed in them
- You are a self-starter sharing our hands-on mentality and bring great interpersonal skills with being able to build strong and mutually respectful relationships
- You are a quick learner and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
