In cooperation with one of our partners Dosign is looking for a freelancer who can function as a Construction Site Coordinator on the one hand and a Project Engineer on the other hand.

In this role it is important that you are fluent in English and in French since the project is located in the North of France. The project itself revolves around the construction of a plant in water treatment and - purification.

The company is a multinational waste management organization that focuses mostly on circularity. On an industrial scale, they mainly operate within the (petro)chemical industry.

**Duties**:
Daily coordination of several contractors on site;
Follow-up of work permits created by the operational team;
Follow-up of the execution planning;
Quality control of the works;
Resolving technical problems in close cooperation with the project engineers;
Report, give feedback and coordinate with the Project Manager and Project Management Team;
Maintain the communication with the stakeholders throughout the project;
Prepare and organise Basic Design and technical specification;
Define the scope, battery limits, automation interfaces, codes and standards, exclusions;
Prepare Tender docs;
Compile RFQ and vendor list;
Tender review, clarifications;
Single Point of Contact with the contractor, manage the relationship and get the best from it;
Review and follow-up of Time schedule;
Look for solutions to problems that arise (technical and time schedule);
Budget review and follow-up;
Design reviews;
Lay-out review, maintenance review and constructability review;
Document review and approval, coordinate with other team members and disciplines;
Organise and minute technical and progress meetings;
Maintain an action log;
Design coordination;
Coordinate the environmental & safety aspects;
Organise HazOp and follow-up;
Ensure that statutory QESH requirements are achieved (CE, ATEX, PED, planning permit, building permit, );
Interface data sheets compilation and follow-up;
Functional analyses review and coordination of interfaces;
Coordination with other disciplines;
Performance specifications follow-up;
FR/QR set-up and follow-up;
Construction site follow-up;
Attend and coordinate FAT/SAT;
Commissioning;
Compile and transfer of Hand-over file;
Organise training of operators;
Provisional acceptance;
Performance tests;
Guarantee period follow-up;
Final acceptance.

**Job requirements**:
Fluent in French and English;
Previous experience (+ 10 years) in industrial construction;
Being organised, communicative and a leader.
