**Job Purpose**

We are looking for a data protection specialist in Security and Compliance Team with a passion for privacy and data protection, to manage ongoing compliance activities. This role reports to the Manager, Data Privacy Programs and will support aspects of corporate Data Privacy Compliance programs

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the DPO/Manager, Data Privacy Programs as required in the delivery of the Data Protection Program
- Support the creation as well as the implementation of the records regarding the processing activities
- Support documentation and evaluation of data processing activities
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to define security, risk, and compliance requirements
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and other teams to create/implement tools, automation, training, to improve data privacy protections and ensure end-to-end data privacy compliance.
- Maintain records to support the data protection compliance project (and audits where necessary)
- Participate in the implementation and embedding the data governance organizational model
- Manage the compliance tools and systems for data security and compliance
- Work with the business and technical stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on data quality standards to support delivery of workstreams and projects

- 3-5 years prior Project Management experience
- Knowledge of EU the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
- Experience in project and program management methods and techniques, process development and continuous optimization
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and interact with various stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and conceptional thinking paired with the ability to understand multiple interdependencies
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and interact with various stakeholders
- Experience performing third party compliance assurance assessments
- Excellent client relationship and customer service skills, with a clear client focus.
- Affinity for IT topics especially in legal technology
- Proactive, self-starter who requires mínimal support
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English and French (preferred)

- Over 1 year of practical experience related to GDPR
