**Haupttätigkeiten und Aufgaben**:

- Forschung an der Schnittstelle von Natural Language Processing (NLP) und Software Engineering, mit dem Schwerpunkt auf der Entwicklung deutscher (und englischer) Dialogsysteme
- Leitung von Forschungsprojekten im Gesundheitsbereich und Zusammenarbeit mit Fachleuten aus dem Gesundheitswesen
- Mitwirkung an der Lehre in Software Engineering und NLP auf Bachelor
- und Master-Ebene
- Betreuung von Bachelor
- und Master-Arbeiten

**Arbeitsumfeld**:

- Praxisnahe Forschungsprojekte mit renommierten Partnern aus dem Gesundheitssektor und Universitätskliniken
- Sprachbasierte semantische Suche, Frage-Antwort-Systeme, Nutzermodellierung
- Training, Domänenanpassung und Evaluierung von großen Sprachmodellen (Large Language Models - LLMs)
- Software-Engineering von Multi-Agenten-basierten Dialogsystemen, Sicherheits
- und Skalierbarkeitstests
- Vollzeitstelle (100% TVL-E 13)

**Kompetenzen und Qualifikationen**:

- Hervorragender Master-Abschluss in Informatik, Computerlinguistik, Data Science oder einem ähnlichen Bereich
- Theoretische Kenntnisse und praktische Erfahrung im Bereich NLP für Dialogsysteme
- Gute Kenntnisse in Software Engineering und Data Science
- Hohe Motivation, innovative Lösungen mit Industriepartnern zu entwickeln
- Interesse an der Anwendung von NLP-Technologien auf Dialogsysteme im Gesundheitswesen, einschließlich der Verwendung von Large Language Models, Software-Frameworks für den Aufbau von Dialogsystemen und der Interaktion mit sowohl technischen als auch medizinischen Experten
- Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, zur Softwareentwicklung in verteilten multikulturellen Teams beizutragen
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse
